USA CyclingRules: Held under USA Cycling permit #2013-1770. Race held rain or shine. USA Cycling license required. One-day and annual licenses will be available for purchase at the race for Cat 5 men and Cat 4 women.  This is an Omnium consisting of two races – The Loomis Basin Sierra de Montserrat Circuit Race on Saturday, June 8, and the Auburn Downtown Criterium on Sunday, June 9. You may enter one or both races. If you complete both races, you will be eligible for Omnium prizes. Omnium places based on accumulated points. Points range from 75 for 1st place to 1 point for 75th place. The above categories and times are the same for both days (except for the Kids Race, which is on Sunday only).

Prizes: $5,550 TOTAL. Day One Circuit Race $1,850 Merchandise; Day Two Criterium $1,850 Merchandise; Omnium $1,850 Cash (same as each of the two days except in cash, not merchandise).

NCNCARegistration: Online registration opens Wednesday, May 1* and closes Wednesday, June 5 at 11:30pm PST. Service fee will be added electronically. Entry fee for second race (on same day) is $15. Same day registration add $10 late fee.  Race day registration opens 6:30am and closes 15 minutes prior to your start time.

Day One

Course: The Loomis Basin Sierra de Montserrat Circuit Race is a rolling 1.3-mile loop featuring two short climbs, fast downhill sections, a European-style roundabout, and a hilltop finish on excellent pavement.  Start at Rutherford Canyon Rd./Montserrat Ln., proceed east on Rutherford Canyon Rd., turn right on Sable Ridge Ct., complete counterclockwise loop of Sable Ridge Ct. back down to Rutherford Canyon Rd., turn left on Rutherford Canyon Rd. back down and around the roundabout at the start area. Finish is back up Rutherford Canyon Rd. about ¼ mile. Registration area is on Montserrat Ln. near the Rutherford Canyon Rd. roundabout.

Parking: Racers and visitors, please do not park on Barton Rd. or Rutherford Canyon Rd. No parking or access to race venue available from Laird Rd. or Barton Rd. Rutherford Canyon Rd. will be closed to traffic from the intersection at Barton Rd. to Laird Rd. Parking is available in designated lot off Blackhawk Ct. via Wells Rd.

From I-80(East), take the Rocklin Rd. exit, turn right onto Rocklin Rd. for 1.6 miles then turn right onto Barton Rd. for 0.2 miles. Turn left onto Wells Rd. (Loomis, CA) for 0.3 miles. Turn left at the driveway for race parking. There will be a sign and cones marking the driveway.

From I-80(West), take the Sierra College Rd. exit and turn left onto Sierra College Rd. for 1.1 miles, turn left onto Rocklin Road for 0.8 miles then turn right onto Barton Rd. for 0.2 miles. Turn left onto Wells Rd. (Loomis, CA) for 0.3 miles. Turn left at the driveway for race parking. There will be a sign and cones marking the driveway.

Day Two

Course: The Auburn Downtown Criterium is a technical hilly 1.1-mile loop through Auburn’s downtown area with its many fine shops and restaurants. Start in front of Victory Velo Bike Shop (835 Lincoln Way, 95603), proceed north on Lincoln Way, turn right onto Route 49 (Golden Chain Highway), turn right onto Borland Ave., right on Brook Rd., right on Cherry Ave., left on Magnolia Ave., right on Hillmont Ave., right on Lincoln to finish on the uphill section past Cleveland Ave.
